On November 27, the European Parliament approved the College of Commissioners: the “von der Leyen II” Commission. The approval was supported by 370 votes in favor, with 282 MEPs opposed and 36 abstaining. The College of Commissioners can therefore take up its duties on December 1. This vote marks a return to normal work for the European institutions and a concrete start to the 2024-2029 term of office.
